How to Test
Contents of HMTS(Cl) kit
- 1 Colour strip on box of the kit
- 1 Test Instruction Sheet
- 1 Large Test-tube
- 1 vial with blue cap - Reagent 1
Storage of Heavy Metals Test - Chlorine Kit
The Chlorine Test kit should be stored in a cool place - 12C to 20C.
Preparation of Test Solutions
- Remove the small vial from the large test tube
- In the empty large test-tube, add 10 ml. of the solution to be tested
- The solution is now ready for testing
Conducting the test
- Add all the content from the blue-cap vial (Reagent 1) to the large test-tube containing the solution to be tested
- Close the large test-tube and shake the large test tube to mix the contents. Please ensure that all the solid substance
has been dissolved
- Compare the colour of the solution to the colour strip provided
Test Interference:
The presence of Nitrate, Sulfate and Bromate ions in high concentrations in the solution to be tested may affect the accuracy of the results.

Warning
Please keep the Chlorine Test kit in a safe place out of reach of children.
After the test has been completed, the tested solution should be disposed of
safely. The best disposal method is to flush the solution in the toilet.
There should not be any contact of the contents of the Cadmium Test kit with food.
